Creating Dramatic Lighting

Creating Dramatic Lighting

I did a dramatic lighting photo shoot several weeks ago with a new model Paige Nicole. The shoot jumped off the set with her! The dramatic lighting set up, created superb contrast, interest, and good mood for the images of Paige. For the props, I used a black backdrop and a stool. For the lighting, I used three of my Interfit Honey Badgers.

Dramatic lighting with Paige

My model Paige wore trendy ripped jeans with an olive green Calvin Klein bra to start. After capturing quality fashion shots of Paige, she changed the mood by posing in the matching olive green thongs. The green underwear, combined with the black backdrop made hot low key images.

The combo of Paige’s excellent build and looks along with her tan skin made the dramatic lighting effect turnout hot and crisp pictures.  There is a total of fifty-six glamour images that make up a total of three outfit looks Paige wore for her shoot.

This dramatic lighting shoot was a lot of fun and exciting to photograph for me. Everything worked out well in this session after I took the first two or three images the rest fell into place. If you want to see a fantastic model posing in a dramatic light setting, this is a must-see photo shoot. By the way, I'm leaving Paige’s third outfit out of the description along with any other pictures if you're wondering why I don’t have a sample or two posted out here.
